Gears of War 3 Review (Xbox 360)
Gears of War 3 marks the last entry in the trilogy as Epic Games brings closure to a story that began in 2006. The events of Gears 3 take place two years after the sinking of Jacinto, the last bastion of human civilization. This unsteady period of peace is eventually interrupted when the Lambent re-emerges from underground and attacks the remaining pockets of human survivors. Players once again take command of Marcus Fenix and his small platoon of COGs as they attempt to quell the Locust and Lambent threat once and for all.

2012 BMW X1 xDrive28i Impressions
Due to some unfortunate quality issues, my 2011 X3 is currently in the shop for the next couple weeks as the dealership orders replacement parts. In the meantime, BMW Calgary has provided me with a brand new 2012 X1 loaner which was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting a bottom barrel 325i. Before I start with my impressions, please note that I have no professional experience reviewing autos so I apologize in advance if I happen to describe something arbitrarily. I just happen to be a tech geek that enjoys cars!
